Pub in Dublin! 😉
Cheers; Sláinte! That might be the most heard word after “My H…” (haha.. inside joke) in Ireland. I’ve heard that 3 days is more than enough to visit Dublin and to some extend, I agree; TO VISIT. But, for those like me, passionate about Irish people, music and PUBs, it’s definitely NOT! Being in Dublin for 4 days was not even close to “enough”, I could stay there for ages or, till my liver resisted before becoming green myself! ha ha…
Every single corner that you visit in the world (and I’ve been to quite a few to tell) there is an Irish pub and the fame has a reason to be, this “reason” you cannot fully understand ’till you don’t visit a REAL one, the “Irish pub” in IRELAND.
Irish pub rules!!! @ Dublin
My expectations were high due to the amount of Irish people that I met along my journey, all of them, friendly and funny. Not to mention, the lovely IRISH ACCENT! Sometimes you don’t even understand them but, girls… wanna know who can resist? 😉
Of course I had in mind this “Hollywood version” of Ireland as well; as a good friend of mine says. But, what to do? All of us dreams about different stuff. I had my Irish ones! 😀
So, back to Dublin…
I’ll have to say that the city itself is alright but when you add to it good friends, Guinness, lot of laugh, good o’ James and irish soundtrack, there is no cold temperature to stop you and days just flies, nights even more! I had the best time ever. Walking around town and joining pub crawls with my beloved friend Camilla. I just wish I could stop the time there.
Two things you can’t live the city without visiting:
1. Guinness Brewery:
Picture tells everything…. pints, pints and dizzy!!! Even the camera got a bit! 😉
Guinness Gates @ DUBLIN
It's perfection in every step! ART 😉
How to resist? Is the perfect combination… it might be the scent of the HOPS, or the Irish water. Actually, it doesn’t matter! What really matters is the degustation, the final part of the tour when you get to the top of the brewery and while enjoying an amazing view of Dublin you can have your own fresh pint. Sláinte!!! To Ireland and good friendship! =)
Pub @ Guinness Brewery :: and my MOVEMBER!
2. Jameson Distillery:
Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey! Taste of heaven!!
Ok, you might be thinking now that I am a drunk. To make things (a bit more) clear, just try to think this way: 0˚ degrees, freezing, celebration time, holidays, friends, IRELAND!!! What else? It’s the perfect combination. Than you add some Ginger Ale to it and… oh god, can’t remember!!! hahaha….
Jameson's Maturation Process
Seriously, nothing can beat a JAMES+GINGER ALE+ROCKS combo! That was our choice for the nights to come in Dublin and, I have to admit, that was the right one!
I’m not sure if it was the atmosphere, the pubs, the drinks or the soundtrack. For me was the combination of all of this and the most important of all A GOOD COMPANY! Sometimes after traveling for a long time by yourself you realize how amazing sharing moments with good old friends is. Ireland for me it’s not just a dream, it’s a true and happy experience writing down the last steps of this big journey.
Thank to my sweetheart friend Camilla and her friends too, I had the best time! It’s sad to leave but, Dublin left happy memories I’ll never forget. One thing I promised, will definitely come back! 😀 That’s a deal right Ca? ❤ Lov!
Sláinte, to real friends!
